At a meeting on 13 June 2022, in Geneva, Ambassador Tai and Cabinet Secretary Maina decided that the countries would pursue increased engagement to result in high-standard commitments in many areas. The goal is to boost investment, foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth, help people in the labour force, consumers and businesses, and advance regional economic integration in Africa.
